Hearing Wolves are determined to move Shabazz Muhammad today, looking for a pick. Don't know if he would be in potential Rubio-Rose deal.

Heh, Doogie interviewed Taylor and he said they aren't remotely close to a trade. What a circus. This happens every year.

Noel to Mavs.

Sixers trade Nerlens Noel to Mavericks. The 76ers have traded center Nerlens Noel to the Mavericks for Andrew Bogut, Justin Anderson and a conditional first-round pick, sources tell ESPN's Marc Stein.

Dammit. Carlisle and Co. will turn him into even more of a defensive monster, you watch. Dallas always finds a way to stay reasonably competitive.

Agreed, Honestly we need to tank. I mean develop guys like Dunn at 30+ minutes a night. Cap Towns and Wiggins at 30mpg and no back to backs.

We'll see he is a RFA and they did give up 2 defensive players in the process. Still a solid move

Not sure about the tanking part. This team needs to learn how to compete and win, not lose more games just so that we can get another teenager that can't play defense and needs three years to be a productive NBA player.

Much of this team still needs to learn how to play. Learning to win won't happen until they learn to play both ends of the floor, every game, and with intensity. But yeah, I'm not to interested in more draft picks.

I don't mind the lower cost/less sexy draft picks. I do think it's important we maintain a pipeline of low-cost rookie contracts. I'd just prefer it to be guys we don't feel obligated to play right away and can marinate in the D-League for a while. It's the lotto picks I'm done with at this point....

Low cost talent is what keeps teams like the Spurs perpetually on top! On the other hand they have to get to the top before they can stay at the top. When you have a mid to late first round pick or any second round pick who grows into a solid rotation player or better it's awesome. On the other hand it's extremely rare. I don't know how Wiggins and KAT are feeling about their team at the moment, but if they've lost even a fraction of the hope I have we may as well begin wishing them well on their second NBA stop.

I want one of those 2 top PG's in this draft. I also want to see if Dunn can figure it out and not burn out the kids.
