Which shooters do we target in free agency?

Interesting stuff, monster. I"m not sure how to interpret it. Here's a positive spin on the Wolves having 4 in the top 15. Rubio is a master of getting the ball to players in the right spot for open looks. Butler finsihed in the bottom 15, but still hit 36% of his threes...having a pass first PG like Ricky should increase his open looks and hance his percentage.

Here's the negative spin. Defenses aren't concerned about Belly, KAT, Ricky and Shabazz outside the line, and allowed them to shoot. Even worse, their percentage should be higher given the openness of the shots.

I suspect that the answer lies somewhere in the middle.

That's some of what I was thinking also. Another possible spin is that do you want to dare the Wolves to beat you shooting the 3 or try and guard them out there and make it easier to get to the basket? Unless Lavine was on the floor I would be plenty willing to dare the Wolves hit 3's because Towns is a beast and Wiggins can get past anyone MAYBE even Leonard if the floor is spaced.

Some of the names on the list of guys that hit guarded 3's are interesting like Meeks. Did they get guarded closely or did they take contested shots? Like you said at the end of your post...probably somewhere in the middle.

I wouldn't be shocked if Thibs thought he could get both Rush and Dunlevey for the vet min. Oh and Jason Terry would be nice for the vet min as a backup combo guard. He was actually effective last year for Milwaukee.

I wouldn't be shocked if Thibs thought he could get both Rush and Dunlevey for the vet min. Oh and Jason Terry would be nice for the vet min as a backup combo guard. He was actually effective last year for Milwaukee.

I'd rather do McLemore and Casspi for the vet minimum if possible. Terry and Dunleavy are just way too past their prime to bring in IMO. Rush would be fine as well on this team, I just like the potential of Ben under Thibs more.

Good call on Casspi that's another option.

Looking at some basic stats Dunlevey and Terry were pretty effective and they both hit 3's at a high percentage. Both played legit minutes on playoff teams.

The other busy thread right now lays out why we really need to get a wing rather than a forward. Casspi, Tolliver, and Jerebko don't make a ton of sense right now. We gotta have a guy who can play the 2 and/or 3, ideally one best player possible for that backup role.

Wiggins and Butler can play 2 or 3 and will each play about 36-37 minutes a game so you just have to find a wing to play the leftover minutes between those two and it really wouldn't matter which position the guy plays. He'll always have a position versatile guy next to him letting him play whatever.

Rush, McLemore, Ronnie Price. I'd like to see all 3 added.

Price isn't shooter, but he would give a defensive option as our 3rd pg to compliment thus' offensive skill set.
