Milos Teodosic
Re: Milos Teodosic
We know Thibs runs a tight ship. We also know they have little money to work with, so they are casting a wide net over PGs and wings, just to let them know we might have interest. I am sure we are only hearing about a handful of those contacts, probably leaked by agents, or players' friends.
I try not to put much stock in these stories, and just wait to see who shows up on our front door step...

Milos Teodosic is a big Winner!
He one of my favorite players in Europe for long time.
He is very smart player, controls games, made big time shots, genius passer, great ball handler, one of the baest Pick n' Roll player and has a lot of professional experience.
On the other hand, he didn`t have the best year last year (I don`t know about injuries), he`s 30 now and not athletic (don`t know if he can guard in the N.B.A.) and the big question regarding him is if his game will fit to the N.B.A. especialy to our team.
If he comes to the N.B.A., he will com to win and not just for the money or to be the last player on the bench.
Thanks for your input, eitan...always value yours and Mikkeman's opinions about Euro basketball. Good to hear your positive opinion about Milos since we are one of the teams in the hunt for him. I have only watched him 3-4 games a couple summers ago, and he really rubbed me the wrong way...seemed like the epitome of a selfish teammate. I thought his poor play at critical moments really hurt his team. Anyway, my sample size is small, and I find your opinion more valid.
Re: Milos Teodosic
If I`m not wrong he have reached 7 times to final four of the Eurolige in his career (Won - 2016) with two different teams (from Greece and Russia).
So, he is one of the top Euroleage players in the last decade, and again the question is if he will fit our team.
Hard to remember Final Four without him in the last decade,

If he is as you described him, I can't see him signing with the Wolves where he would clearly be a bench player. Instead, I'd see him signing with the Knicks or Nets where he can play on the big stage and be the man. If he signs with us, that says something positive about him.
Fair point. And guys do grow up. He was about 28 when I watched him a lot...perhaps he has matured since then, and is willing to play a proper role on the team. There's no question he has talent...not athleticism in the least, but talent. The question is whether he can ever fit into a system. Personally, I prefer Tyus in the backup PG role...bette defender (ha, when can we ever say that about Jones?) and the consummate team player.
I dont' think Thibs is looking at it as a choice between Teo and Tyus as backup PG. Thibs seems to be all-in on the modern positionless nature of the NBA. He probably wouldn't want Tyus and Teo on the floor at the same time because of their combined defensive issues. But I could see him rotating Teo in for Teague while Butler is still on the floor and then pairing Tyus and Teague. Bottom line is that the Wolves desperately need to add rotation-level 3-point shooting to the roster and Teo is probably the best available 3-point shooter at this juncture.

They also won silver in the Olympics with him being their best player. (Played great in the first game against the USA sucked in the final) It is a risk though dealing with the ego.
Re: Milos Teodosic
One report says the Bulls offered him 3 years $48 million. That's $16 million a year. If the report is true, I can't see any realistic scenario under which Teo becomes a Timberwolf. Even if the report is remotely close to the truth, it still makes signing Teo here a huge long shot. So I'm moving on from Teo and refocusing on more realistic possibilities to shore up or 3-point shooting and gaping hole on the bench at the wing position. I'm thinking Afflalo and Thabo.

I agree with you but I wonder what his and belly relationship is. Could be a big factor.

I agree with you kekgeek.
In my opinion he won`t go to the rebuilding Bulls. If he will come to the N.B.A. , it will be to play with a team that has a chance to win (and not for the money).
