We had some fun with this survey last year, and it's out again. Keep in mind that rookies couldn't vote for themselves, college teammates or NBA teammates, so Towns was punished a little bit. It's probably not surprising that he finished second to Okafor in both ROY and best career categories.

This survey is entertaining, but I also think there is a lot of credibility in it. Remember that these guys have played with and against each other throughout AAU and college days, so their opinions on their peers has some validity.

The Tyus Jones votes were certainly encouraging. He finished second to Russell as best playmaker (and ahead of Mudiay), and tied for second as the biggest steal of the draft.

On the other hand, I'm astonished that 14 rookies got votes for best defender, and Towns wasn't one of them. Very strange.
