Towns Predictions
Since Wiggins has a prediction thread it was time to start another one for our other future league MVP.
Here is the predictions from the link below.
9.5ppg, 7 rpg, 3 apg, 1.2bpg and .5spg.

Probably about right, maybe not quite as many rebounds

Personally, I think Towns will outperform those projections. I'd also think those numbers were a bit low considering he'll probably average around 30 MPG this year.

3 assists would be nice but not likely that realistic to me as I don't see too many sets being run for him off the bat. Otherwise I think this is pretty close to what I was thinking.

Re: Towns Predictions
Difficult for me to predict this one, because there are too many variables that could impact his production. Going into last season, I was fairly certain that Wiggins would start and play a lot of minutes...and he did, albeit more minutes than I would have thought due to all the injuries.
I am not as comfortable predicting what Karl's role will be this year. I think it depends on Pek's availability and whether the Wolves are in the hunt for a playoff spot. If Pek is available and playing at the level he did prior to last year, and the Wolves are in the playoff hunt, I think Karl will play around 20 minutes and average 8 and 6. But if Pek can't go and the Wolves fall out of contention early, Flip will likely play Karl more like 30-35 minutes per game. In that scenario, I would hope that he could provide 12 PPG and 8 RPG, along with 2-3 assists and a couple blocks.
I'm high on Karl's future, and wouldn't be surprised to see him as a 22-12 guy by his 4th season. If Wiggins is as good as I think he can be by then, this could be a very good team.

Re: Towns Predictions
Here are few predictions:
- He will average less than 30 MPG, regardless if Pek is healthy or not.
- He will struggle mightily with fouls. And if he doesn't, I actually think that would be a problem in itself.
- Flip won't let him shoot 3's (I know, I'm going out on a limb on that one.....)
- KG and Bjelica will close a lot of games for us at C and PF when things are tight, with Towns and Dieng watching from the bench.

Point #1 because of point #2 primarily.
Agree with Point #4, but don't be surprised if they go big with Towns, KG, Bjelica, Andrew, and Ricky sometimes.

Disagree with this. Im not as high on bjelica as a lot here are. He has not proven anything in this league to warrant such faith.
If pek is healthy, he will finish games for us. If not, I see dieng finishing games in his place along with kg. Both pek and dieng are very good ft shooter and can score so they are not a liability in clutch time. I can't see bjelica playing over them. I see towns finishing games for us towards the end of the season as well.
Re: Towns Predictions
I predict Towns will have the best stats of any Wolves #1 overall pick in franchise history.

Totally agree. Just like ndudi ebi has the best stats of any wolves #26 overall pick in franchise history.
