I want cody zeller for the wolves. Martin for zeller.

Towns/zeller/wiggins/rubio/lavine as the core future. Thats going to be fun to watch and root for.

Wasn't Flip pretty high on Zeller? I would do that trade. It certainly make the Hornets look like a playoff team.

I know okafor/randle are unproven in the league but cousins is such a headcase and his tenure in sacramento has been controversial. It has actually put the franchise in bad light with the number of coaches fired during cousins time. The instability and conflicts. Okafor is not a bad consolation price at all.

If they have to Trade Cousins then that would be a pretty good haul for him. Idk if Randle and Okafor would work defensively but both guys are pretty talented.

Yup. flip was and I am as well. Zeller wont be a star but he is a solid player and slot him between wiggins and towns and he is a great fit.

I am asking a serious question why should we want Cody Zeller?

The Hornets got better no doubt. I just don't like the roster fit and am not a fan of the way the Hornets waster their assets.

All I've been reading about the Hornets is they wanted to add shooting Batum is a better 3 point shooter over his career than Henderson and it seems like I heard last offseason Henderson's defense wasn't what it had been earlier in hai career. Both Batum and Henderson are guys that aren't signed long term and so it seems equalish there.

Giving up on Vonleh when he hasn't turned 20 yet yeah that doesn't make sense I get where you are coming from Volans saying its a poor use of assets. I wasn't high on Vonleh in that draft but I wouldn't be tossing him out like that though although I never saw him play but there are some decent signs in his limited action stats he accumulated.

2, Randle, and Clarkson for Cousins is a no brainer from the Kings perspective I think. It may be a better haul than what we got for Love. Plus they have the 6th pick. The Kings could really have a nice young roster after this trade.

C- Okafor
PF- Randle
SF- Gay
SG- Clarkson/Winslow
PG- Clarkson/Mudiay

No brain trade to me if I'm the Kings.

I'm surprised the 76ers haven't been more involved in these rumors. They have the assets and if I recall correctly Hinkie on a podcast midseason or so said the point of accumulating assets is so you can trade for a bonafide star (which DeMarcus is). They've got cap space so they could build a team around him over the next 2-3 years. And they are in the east, so you've got to figure that they'll make the playoffs with relative ease.

I agree, if I'm the Kings as much as it would hurt I would trade DMC for #2, Randle, and Clarkson.

Couldn't agree more. I was thinking about the similarities of this to the Love deal right before I read your post. In both cases, a team (Cavs and now the Lakers) really wanted a productive player, even though he had not demonstrated an ability to lead a team. and was willing to overlook his personal drawbacks and overpay for him. I gotta believe George Karl is salivating over this possible deal.

I guess because you feel he will be an upgrade over what we have currently and can be a rotation player. I would probably go with Portis over him at this point.

On a side note, I'm glad we didn't end up with Batum. I always thought he was 'meh' and was never crazy about signing him. But the events of that free agency gave me a good reason to hate the blazers and I think that's a good thing.
