We'll just have to prove them wrong, even hated Chad Ford said we'd be "very , very dangerous in a couple years" after our draft. I think that win prediction is based on never having a healthy team, why should this year be different? A healthy team (hard to define I know) should be close to 40 wins this year IMO.

I'm thinking 46 wins this year.

PEK and Martin the keys to making that happen along with no major injuries. We have a perfect blend of youth and experience, depth and skill. Ricky is ready to make a jump along with Wig, Bazz, Bennett, and Dieng. Lavine, Payne, Bjelica, and Towns viable backups. KG, Miller, and Prince good for a few games here and their as well plus mentors...

Why is Ricky ready to make the jump? Dude's been a boot all summer, I'm guessing hasn't been able to work on his game that much

And yet... I've still missed the mark in recent years. The Wolves have ended even worse.

[Note: The Wolves late-season swoons (free falls) should not be overlooked. It's actually quite incredible how poorly multiple teams have finished at the very end of seasons over the past 5 or 6 years.]

I think it's possible to be fairly pessimistic (er, I mean realistic!) about this season while at the same time holding out some modicum of hope for the future. We really do have some intriguing potential on the roster. But this will be a gradual process. I'd be fine with 25-ish wins given the strength of the Western Conference and the handicap we have with our coaching staff.

All true. I think the Wolves (if all goes well) can be a viable team in the West just in time for the 2017 - 2018 season... errr... ummmm... I mean lockout.
