I'm not sure I get the narrative that Karl won't work with Cousins etc. both guys want to win. Karl hasn't exactly had cuddly, team first, sane players his entire career or anything.

Shawn Kemp (I'll add that Payton was a crazy competitor)

Sam Cassell and Big Dog

Melo and I am pretty sure he coached McGee one of his best years

Did you watch the video? Cousins can't even stand Karl's presence for a simple introduction. Of all the guys you mentioned, did Karl openly try to trade any of them behind the scenes? The problem isn't their ability to play and coach basketball together. It's going to be just co-existing near each other. There have been plenty of guys to play for coaches they hate. How often does that end in a good situation though?

First of all my post was not speaking to the video but the idea that I have heard both in this forum from a couple friends and nationally that Guys like Rondo and Cousins aren't George Karl guys.

Now the video. I personally don't know how anyone can come away from that video clip saying anything definitively based on watching it. Karl comes up holds out his hand Cousins extends his they slap hands whatever Cousins gets up they are talking back and forth... I just don't see the angst or whatever that's supposed to be there and quite frankly I was expecting. Sure you could say there is but you could go the other way too.

Also we don't know for certain all the stuff that has gone down with the Kings. I think it's clear there is a mess there with lots of changes etc but I don't believe every report and we may never know everything that went down. I'm not saying some of the stuff didn't go down but we don't know.

So Cousins just coincidentally had to get up and leave when Karl came by when he didn't even stand up until Karl started shaking his hand? How many times do you shake a person's hand and not look them in the eye for a good couple seconds? Did that interaction look normal to you because that just isn't what I expect a player and coach to interact like in this kind of environment? I really don't see how someone can watch that and think everything is fine between Cousins and Karl. Cousins clearly tried to get away as fast as possible when Karl came up to him. He got out before anything bad could happen which was smart on his part to avoid that. I see Cousins chilling, Karl comes over, they shake hands, Cousins immediately gets up and starts heading towards the exit after a very short exchange of words with Karl.

Now the clips is only like 10 seconds long, but it sure didn't look like sunshine and rainbows. Was this their first interaction since all that went down? I dunno. In my mind I'm thinking maybe Boogie and Karl head to the locker room to have a talk to avoid their conversation getting taped and blown out of proportion/over analyzed. who knows. I'm just thinking that Karl is starting off with little to no lee-way in Cousins book and is going to have to prove himself and earn Cousins' trust/support.

Cousins is gonna have the same number of rings that Dwight Coward and Carmelo Anthony have.

Karl said to him lets come to talk in private and they both go to talk elsewhere. You read into it too much man.

Kings bring back Luc for a 2nd time and resign Casspi. George Karl should be plenty happy with what he has to work with at this point.

Jimmer Fredette just signed with the spurs. We talk about the spurs ability to have sneaky good and cheap signings every off season. I have a feeling the jimmer will be one of those this season for the spurs.

I hadn't looked at his stats for a while but other than last year which was brutal for him he really shot the 3 well. I have thought for a while he is a guy that if he went to the right team and took on the right role he could be a nice bench player. He reminds me a little of when we signed Hoiberg. Somewhat skilled player that should be able to hit shots. Losing Hoiberg was a tough blow to the Wolves back then with his heart issue and he wasn't a starter.

@warriors: OFFICIAL: #Warriors acquire F Jason Thompson (@jtthekid) from @Sixers in exchange for Gerald Wallace, cash & draft considerations.

Nice move for a very solid player and they save a bunch of money even if they include a protected first rounder for the savings it's probably worth it. GS is loaded with solid bigs.
