I like Ellenson, but with Brown on the board I would take him.
I like a good number of players outside the lottery this year.

I'm calling up Hinkie and selling him hard on the opportunity to get a potential star wing player in Jaylen Brown, or even Buddy Hield if he'd rather go that route, or Kris Dunn should he finally feel ready to choose a point guard. In return, all he'd have to give me is Nerlens Noel.
Noel's going to be just 22-years old entering the 2016-17 season.

Cam - What if Hinkie says I won't give you Noel, but will trade you Oakfor. Would you do it?

I don't think I would. Okafor's biggest strength is his ability to score in the interior. That's something that I think we're above average at already. Also, I'm legitimately worried about Okafor off the court. He has not made a good impression in that regard. Two off-court fights and a speeding ticket that has been made known. Not what you're looking for in a high-cost investment.
Plus, we need another defensive presence and Okafor's not really going to help in that regard.

Great points. I was curious what you would do. What if the Cavs called and about trading Love for the pick?

That's a terrible mock draft. Look at the other mock drafts where they do more extensive analysis. I don't like Ellenson at all for our pick and think he's overrated. He's probably not in my top 15. Korkmaz is somebody who should be taken much later.

The only way that happens is if New York gets involved and convinces Carmelo Anthony to agree to being dealt to Cleveland. Cleveland doesn't need the pick; they need win-now talent, playoff talent. So, in a very basic way of saying it, Cleveland gets Melo, New York gets our pick and Minnesota gets Kevin Love.
I'd imagine the Lakers and Celtics would do a similar trade with their higher picks, so, the likeliness of pulling that off wouldn't be very good.
In short, yes, I would absolutely trade that No. 5 overall pick for Love.
