We know better better than any team that all the talent in the world means nothing if it can't stay healthy. Just wanted to bring his name up and give him a shout out for his excellent work this year.

Yea I was thinking about him the other day. I am concerned that with Flip gone, he wont want to stick around, even though the team could really benefit from his presence. I hope that the players (or someone else) have made enough of an impression on him to keep him on board longer.

Arnie has been fantastic. The 180 turn-around on the team's injury fortunes can't be a mere coincidence.

Unfortunately, I suspect he'll leave after this season. He came here because of Flip and I can't see him staying with Flip gone. But I would certainly consider Arnie's preferences as a factor in choosing a new PBO and head coach if it would help keep him here.

I don't keep up with the Nets but that seemed to be about the least talented team I have seen on the floor in quite a while. I think even the Sixers have had at least one guy better than the best player Brooklyn had out there. So it was nice the Wolves had an easy win although the Nets didn't just go away.

Lavine has another game where he does some of those other things to make plays. He is a fun player to watch and I am becoming more and more of a fan of his just as a guy I actually like watching not that I wasn't before but I think you get it.

Rubio was making guys look silly drawing fouls.

Tyus can play.

defense is terrible. I don't care who is coaching this team somebody on the staff has to have some legit defensive credentials as a coach in that area.

I hope Arnie sticks around for a while. From what I read he didn't seem like he left the Pistons because he wanted to retire but I don't think he really had interest in leaving Detroit so he was just gonna stay there and do other things instead of finding a new job. I would hope whoever is running this franchise and coaching would see him as very valuable and he would stay. I have faith in him when it comes to the Wolves players. If KG doesn't play again this season he should absolutely retire. If Arnie couldn't keep him healthy then...

Rickys game has been very good lately, you're humor on the other hand is still worse than his shooting percentage. Unfortunately, no amount of practice will help that. Unless your good at freethrows? :)

I thought LaVine looked really good in this game - and the last one too despite the turnovers. He seems to have picked up his intensity a notch on defense and he's making winning plays that don't always involve scoring.

We are quickly heading toward becoming a top 10 offense on the SEASON, not just over some selected stretch of games. It's unfortunate that the defense continues to be so awful. We might have something if this young group ever learns how to defend.

Ricky Rubio's last 30 games (all in the year 2016): 10.5 PPG (40.1 FG%, 34.7 3P% - 0.8 3PM, 83.5 FT%), 8.3 APG, 3.9 RPG, 1.9 SPG in 30.7 MPG.

Ricky Rubio's last 15 games: 12.3 PPG (45.5 FG%, 39.4 3P% - 0.9 3PM, 85.7 FT% - 5.6 FTA), 8.9 APG, 4.2 RPG, 1.7 SPG in 31.7 MPG.

Ricky Rubio's been scoring and playing well down the stretch.

I will add that while some of Rubio's turnovers are frustrating I think sometimes I like he forces the issue with his passes because it puts the idea in players head that they should be running out on the break, trying to get open and have their head up at all times. Rubio will have to reign in some of those passes at some point but it's not all bad. I also think it's easy to forget he is 25 and because of him missing games because of injury, playing through roster turnover and various coaches he isn't exactly a finished product. He is probably figuring out how to play to a certain extent. I don't want to make it sound like these are excuses but I do think are some realities that should be considered when it comes to his overall play and that's even a factor aside from his ability to score.

If he could just manage to play this way consistently, yeah, that'd be great!

As long as he doesn't have some type of weird injury in his near future, I don't see why he couldn't play somewhere between those two averages.

Edit: He's not doing anything that different, as in his play style has remained the same. He's not yanking a ton of mid-range jumpers. It's a bad shot and it's a useless shot for him to try and develop, IMO. I've said that before. What he has been doing in 2016 is finishing at the rim more often and making his set three-point shots. Those two aspects of scoring combined with his already elite FTr are what he needs to continue building on. If he keeps this type of play up for the rest of the season, you have to feel good about him as our point guard of the now and future.
