He's a +9 tonight, which leads all starters for either team. So, one could say he's been the best player on the floor tonight and they'd have a really good argument.

Rubio also leads all scorers with 22 points. 2-3 from 3P and 8-9 from the FT line help that number a lot. Basically, the two areas of scoring where he does just fine.

Fucking figures. Sure the Wolves shot themselves in the foot a few times late, but that was NOT a charge. Nene was clearly still moving. So sick of poor officiating in PRO sports...

You guys are absolutely blind if you would for a second he was close to good tonight. Keep making excuses.

Also, Wolves held Wall to 6-18 shooting from the field... I'd like to think Rubio had something to do with that. You'd also think you'd win a game with a talent like Wall struggling for the opposition, but it's really hard to win when your bench gets outscored by 46 (or 23 if you swap Beal and Temple) points.

Yeah, he generated some offense tonight for himself, but damn, those 6 TOs hurt. If he had his typical 2 or 3, this may have been a W.

I'm obviously a huge Rubio guy, but we don't have enough depth and (experienced) talent on this team to make up for it when he gets 6 careless TOs like that. And a couple were really careless.

Wolves starting five all ended up with a positive +/- or 0. The supposed star core (Towns, Wiggins, LaVine) played pretty well, all things considered. If we're looking for a silver lining, there's one... And we didn't hurt our ping pong chances.
