Short contracts are the best way to go in my opinion. Just think if we would have paid Pek more for less years.

Shorter and shorter contracts are becoming the norm.

Well we should have cap space around $36 million next year even with Pek's contract so we are armed to go after two quality free agents. Ideally I'd like to get Batum at near max and an old vet who still has some game on a short term friendly deal maybe Noah.

If we don't use all our space I'd like to front load contracts as much as possible so that we pay them less during the year's we'll potentially be signing Wiggins, Zach and then KAT to some serious money.

Part of that trend was tied to the coming cap increase. It will be interesting to see if it continues.
