Another damn fork - Wolves at Pelicans GDT
Another damn fork - Wolves at Pelicans GDT
This is my third "fork" thread. We failed to take the correct road the past two times. I doubt we take the correct one this time, but maybe third time is the charm...
The Wolves, Suns and Pelicans are bunched together in the standings. The Lakers are at the bottom. Utah is clinging to the 8th spot with the Kings, Blazers and Nuggets on their tail. We just [s]beat[/s] thrashed the Suns, and now we play the Pelicans. Are we destined to fart around with the Suns looking down at the Lakers? Or do we set our sights higher, making a move to join the teams flirting with the playoffs?
I never thought playoffs would be out of the question before the all-star break. I really want to see a win tonight.

Tim, have you ever thought them to be out of it? :)

Careful with those forks, Tim. You're gonna hurt yourself.

I have been looking forward to this game for a couple of months, and have pretty sweet seats...will get you all a game report tomorrow. Very interested to see KAT and AD go head-to-head. What I am most curious about is whether any of the Wolves are playing with enthusiasm and joy, or if they look like a losing team. That is what bothers me most about this season and watching this team...learning, mentorship and coaching should not suck the joy out of the game...Our players, particularly our young guys, should look like they are playing a game they love.

Learning, "mentorship" and coaching don't suck the joy out of the game... Losing does. We need the individual improvement to start showing in the W/L column before everyone that's worth a shit gets tired of being here.

I don't know, but Payne has been pretty good. Maybe Sam thought the matchup favored Payne...
