He thinks that what he's putting down on tape now will be appealing to multiple teams who will bargain for his services. To an extent he's probably right. But to be a big part of this team he needs to be a better teammate. If he could do that I think he would be a valuable part of the core.
Stop it. I find it offputting when we agree. And we've done that multiple times lately. I don't know how to deal with that.

Doesn't happen often for sure. Can't figure out if you're getting smarter, or I'm getting dumber. :d

We will probably let him go for next to nothing, and I promise you he will blow up elsewhere.
I don't think so. There were those that feared AB would blow up too. Bazz is pretty much the same player he was last year and so I don't see where significant improvement comes from. He might improve his outside shot but I don't see him ever being a net positive rotation player for a contending team. If you want Bazz to play a deep bench role, maybe he could fit in, but I don't think Bazz will be happy in a deep bench role.

I think his initial take is a good one but I get the feeling Bazz isn't selfish he just played to his strengths and does it 200mph. The last few games he has been moving the ball trying to make the right play and picking his spots more. Can he really make some strides there? Idk but he is a limited guy right now when it comes to the other skills he needs to have including his ball handling and ability to defend. If guys like Dante Cunningham can become reasonably effective 3 point shooters wtf can't Bazz? This organization needs to create some 3 point shooters and Bazz at least has been firing them up. His wonky possible inside outside game could be pretty effective. Imagine him playing for a team like Dallas.

I think he has a relatively decent inside/outside game. But I think he is a me-first player and moving the ball is not his strength. That's not always terrible. Every team needs a guy who can get buckets.
But those types of guys tend to move around a bit and bounce from team to team as one regime sees them as a fit... and another sees them as a problem.
Bazz's handle isn't good enough for the type of player he wants to be. Frankly he needs to be a spot up shooter/cutter/ball mover and that's it. Instead he wants the ball in his hands and he wants to try to score any way possible when he touches it when in reality if the shot isn't there right away he should be moving the ball and trying to do the work to get open off the ball. If he could do that he might be able to fit on this team depending on who else we add. We don't need anyone else posting up or being on the ball. We need elite off ball players who can make 3's (he's improving there), make good cuts to the basket (he's a pretty good cutter) and move the ball (the 1 thing he does poorly for the role we need).

Yeah I agree with all that but one of the problems a big chunk of this season is he was playing off the bench with nobody that would find him when he got open. We all know he isn't really a passing guy but he wasn't exactly playing in an environment that rewarded him for selfless play if he engaged in it. I am not letting him off the hook at all because your post is absolutely right on but he was put in the toughest position of any of the Wolves young players for a large chunk of the season but regardless he needs to get better and the last few games I have seen he has moved the ball and given it up in situation that before he would have looked for his own. Some of those plays ended in turnovers but at least he is trying to do what an unselfish player would do it will be interesting to see if he can keep up a better mentality and be a little smarter. We know his handle holds him back bigtime.

I will say he had a good matchup those guys weren't going to really hurt him on defense. He played a heck of a game and did not look like a liability on defense. Maybe as important as anything he was moving the ball. He has averaged over 30mpg the last 5 games. This is the Bazz we saw earlier last year when he was playing well except this stretch he is passing more. Fun stuff
