AP arrested
For whipping a kid (probably his own) with a switch
Jesus AP what are you thinking? Having AP whip the terminator with a switch would hurt like hell, but a kid? Man...

To be clear, AP has not been arrested. He has, however, been indicted in the state of Texas for criminal behavior involving a child.

Good, and my apologies to Alex, because he was ahead of the story...a warrant has now been issued for AP's arrest. This story sickens me. What kind of monster repeatedly strikes a 4-year-old with a tree branch, and leaves marks on a child like that? I hope they cut him immediately.

I agree. I have a 4 year old nephew. Couldn't even cross my mind

Right or wrong you have to realize everyone is raised differently. This appears to be a standard whopping using a switch, not a man trying to abuse a child. It's preposterous how much people overreact these days.

Rage, check out these photos of the four year old whose father whipped him repeatedly on the legs and scrotum with a tree branch. I'm not sure how anyone who wants this beast gone can be accused of overreacting. The NFL suspended a guy for a year for smoking a joint or two. AP deserves at least that. Do you really not consider this child abuse?

I've seen the photos and they look exactly how I would expect them to look, I also don't consider discipline to be child abuse so no I don't think AP is a child abuser. You have to understand how cultural differences played a role in this, just look at some of the comments from Peterson and Felton on the issue. Obviously I can't speak for them but both of credit their parents' discipline for avoiding trouble growing up so why wouldn't they use similar styles of discipline on their children?
Here's a hypothetical for you: Let's say a kid is a lazy bum who sits and plays video games all day. The parent wants him to get exercise so the kid is forced to play soccer, during a game the kid breaks an arm. Essentially the kid is forced to do something that breaks his arm so should that parent be charged with reckless injury to a child?

AP's statement:

Seems like he made a legit, thoughtful, response. End of this story till he has his day in court in my mind. He seems like a caring parent who admits he took his discipline too far.
