Thanks for posting that was great!

Its a joy to listen to him call a game on the radio when I am driving somewhere. He really does such a great job of describing things like you feel like you have an idea/sense of what is really happening not just the basics. It reminds me of the days when I would actually experience sports a lot in that way (via radio) I am sure some other posters can relate even more than I can. =)

Such a terrific announcer and fun guy. My son and I have a favorite Harlan moment. We were listening to a game in the car and KG was on fire. Harlan couldn't contain himself after yet another KG basket, and said "KG's on fire, he's going mad, he's got Mad Cow Disease!"

Kevin Harlan...what a beauty.

Good stuff. McHale-Harlan is an all time great duo.

Best play by play announcer around. We were lucky to have him for a while as our own local Wolves guy. I miss him. But I don't miss Tucker. Nice guy but the worst on-air analyst I've ever heard.

Couldn't agree more about TT, Lip. One of the best guys in town, but just a terrible basketball mind. It's astonishing to me that a guy who was such a baller and is so well connected within the basketball world can have such consistently poor takes. I listen to In the Zone Saturday mornings if I'm driving somewhere, and I so often disagrees with what Trent is saying. Cool guy though.

Harlan with McHale on Wolves broadcasts was a great thing... it gave me a reason to keep watching despite yet another loss.
