Wig doesn't need to pass more. Good things happen when he has the ball (16 FTA). What he needs to do is get in some passing lanes and get some rebounds, particularly offensive ones.

Yeah, with each passing game he's looking more like a Paul George than a true 2nd banana to KAT.

But still....look at what Rubio and Dunn did combined: 15 pts, 9 rebounds, 12 assists, 5 steals, 4 TOs. Not bad.

Rubio was the more efficient player with 9 points on 5 shots and 0 turnovers, but that is to be expected for now.

Oh yeah! I am very happy with the 1-2 punch of Rubio and Dunn at the point. A lot of factors will play into our 60-win regular season, and that combo at the point is high up on the list.

Good to see them each knock down a 3-ball too. That will be the key to their ability to play together for more than just token minutes. Throw them out there with Rush at the 3, Bjelly at the 4, and KAT at the 5 and how well do they need to shoot though?

Well on the other hand it's kinda tough to complain about Wiggins when he got to the line 16 times had zero turnovers and led the team with +11.

That lineup would really space the floor and at least in Dunn's case he should have plenty of room to drive, and Rubio should be able to drive and dish to a reliable 3 point shooter too. Defensively I think they'd be pretty damn good too.

Exactly. We are unique because we have a 5 and 4 that are reliable 3-point shooters. If you put Rush at the 3, now you've got 3 guys that can space the floor and your two guards can try to get into the paint and make plays. I'm sure we'll see Thibs play with this lineup at some point.

Wiggins path to greatness is scoring and individual defense. He's not going to be a jack-of-all trades wing superstar like LeBron, Jordan, Kobe, Wade, etc. But he could be a slashing version of Klay Thompson or rich man's version of DeMar DeRozan. As long as he doesn't end up as Rudy Gay!!!

Funny you bring up Klay Thompson. His "Do shit" (Q you need to trademark that) numbers are pretty similar to Wiggins and is a very good individual defender. Klay is a pretty damn good player. I would be ok if Wiggins ended up being that level of player. If he did he would be a better offensive version of Derozen that always was one of the best perimeter defenders in the league. That would be a heck of a player.

I liked Wiggins getting to the line a lot, but I need to see a lot more from him before I consider him a legit all-star player. Defense, passing and rebounding all need to improve a lot.

Ugh! Just went to watch replay on League Pass and NOW they tell me it's not televised. Would have been nice to know that earlier!

Good to see a win. Looks like they put it away with a few 3s from bench players in crunch time too. That's nice to see!
