The KAT and Dieng starting combination worked really well for us post All Star break. I'd be happy to keep rolling with this going forward especially under the tutorage of Thibs. I think Dieng will benefit greatly from Thibs coaching.

The overall per 36 numbers are very similar and Belly was on a terrible bench unit. I think Belly is a better offensive player than Dieng and Dieng is a better defensive player. It's close. If Belly stays as a 40% 3pt shooter putting him in the starting lineup would make us the second most potent offense in the NBA with 4 shooters around Ricky and wide open driving space for Ricky, Zach and Wiggins.

Sorry, it's not close. Sample size matters.

Well Belly was a rookie so there is no sample size for him. All you can do is see if he improved during the year and his performance after the all-star break showed he is a better offensive player than Dieng and Dieng's not that great defensively next to Towns anyway. If you swapped Belly for Dieng I don't think the defense takes a nose dive and I think the offense would get better. Now that Belly has had a year to adjust to the NBA I think he'll come into camp as a close matchup to Dieng.
