I hate to bring their names up, and I have higher hope for Chriss, but Derrick Williams and Anthony Bennett had the size, athleticism, and shooting ability. They didn't have the feel/smarts for the game and consistent effort to put it all together. Chriss is a scary, though, very intriguing prospect.

Yes, both scary and intriguing. I'd stay away from him. All-star potential but too much bust potential.

With how high he's expected to go, I have to agree with you. I too would stay away from Chriss. I'm looking for more of a sure thing with our pick.

To compare I think Bender is risky too but his floor seems solid because he has the motor, BBIQ passion for the game etc at his size make him seem like a guy that will at least be a role player.

I have also thought of Bennett when I think of Chriss. Both were able to use their size and athleticism to become very good college players, but that physical superiority didn't translate to the NBA level.

I actually think a lot of the jump up the mock boards for Chriss has to do with his personal attributes. He is as well-rounded, smart and pleasant as anybody in the draft, and is likely blowing executives away in his interviews. But pleasant doesn't equal success in the NBA.

Poeltl, Sabonis, Davis, Diallo in that order for me.

The rest I see as busts.
