what happened tonight?

1. Warriors played without one of their 3 elite players and their best defender in Green.

2. Barnes and Curry both had horrible games.

3. Kyrie Irving had the game of his life. I love the way he plays.

4. LeBron played as well as he can play.

I see Irvi g continuing to play really well. But I don't see the stars aligning like this for the Cavs again this series. I can see the Cavs winning game 6, but not winning the next two.

Kyrie just had an unrepeatable performance, the Warriors shot bad and were missing their All-NBA defensive anchor in Draymond. This was the perfect storm for the Cavs to win one on the road.

Have to agree with you Khans. The type of ball Cleveland plays is tough to sustain over a 7-game series. However, with the new format of 2-2-1-1-1, I can see Cleveland winning game 6 and then getting blown out of the building in game 7.

Love the way LeBron refers to Kyrie as "my point guard." Is there any other player in the League or League history who wouldn't say "our"?

Boy, that's just looking to find something to critique LeBron on, Lip. Nothing wrong with him saying that.

Edit: Unless you actually did love him saying that. I took it as you being negative toward him saying that. I very well could be wrong.

Good point. And Irving isn't even really a point guard. He's a scoring guard that occasionally decides to pass if he has absolutely nothing for himself available. The guy put on an absolute show tonight, but between his defense and the lack of ball movement when he's on the floor, it's easy to see how he can be a real liability at times. But still.....he was pulling every trick out of the bag tonight. That was a one-on-one clinic. He literally made almost every shot in the book from every distance, except no dunks.

Yes, it was a little jab at King James. But I'm amused not disgusted by his comment. Not as bad as "I'm taking my talent to South Beach." :)

I'm not much of a Draymond Green fan, but his absence from the game tonight leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The NBA has done that to me before.

He put himself in that situation. He compiled those flagrants. He took a cheap shot at another man's groin. He let his team down in that aspect. I can't stand his personality, but he is a vital part of the Warriors team and we -- the fans -- were robbed of his presence tonight. So, yes, there's a bad taste in my mouth too, but only in that regard. The league made the right call.
