Nothing wrong with hyperbole. That's what sports fan message boards are all about. :)

Forcing a game 7 would be very interesting with Lebron out there. The only thing I would bet at this point is Lebron in the over on shots for next game.

How about Love's 2 pts and 3rbs tonight in 33mins? I think Love has an impact game at some point this series. I would be kind of sad if he didn't only because it would probably be one of the worst cases of a negative turn around that I have ever seen with a star player. Sure he had a concussion but this is crazy.

Maybe. Personally, I prefer more honest takes. Or more outlandish ones. Those ones teetering in the mushy middle seem to be where most of the issues stem from...

lipoli390 wrote:what happened tonight?

1. Warriors played without one of their 3 elite players and their best defender in Green.

2. Barnes and Curry both had horrible games.

3. Kyrie Irving had the game of his life. I love the way he plays.

4. LeBron played as well as he can play.

I see Irvi g continuing to play really well. But I don't see the stars aligning like this for the Cavs again this series. I can see the Cavs winning game 6, but not winning the next two.

There are bad games... and Curry's could fit the description. Then, there's what Harrison Barnes did tonight.

2 - 14 fg
0 - 2 ft
5 points
5 rebs

We all know he's gonna get paid. But has his play in the playoffs knocked a few million off? After all, he had several games with Curry out and now one with Green out... and he's done nothing with it. Considering that was the great unknown with him (whether he could take on a more expanded role), I'd say he hasn't answered the bell. He didn't have a bad game... he had a horrific game. I thought he was awful on both ends of the court.

[Note: Irving played very well. But I don't care for the way he plays. It's a bit too much iso for me. James was really really good and if his confidence swells and he keeps hitting those jumpers... oh oh.]

Abe -- I've never cared for Harrison Barnes' game. He's always seemed soft and unreliable. I think he's lost a few million at least based on his performance to date in this year's playoffs. But he'll still get a very nice payday.

When he said that, I thought of this

Heh, hard to imagine him being around next year. And I think he'll happily go almost anywhere else.

I don't remember that moment in the game...what's happening in that clip?

I think people are being too critical of Kevin's contributions last night. He had as many combined points and rebounds as turnovers and fouls.

+18 in 33 minutes last night. Only behind Irving's +20 for the team lead.

I assume it's because of his stellar defense. After all, GSW shot only 36% and the "bigs" combined to shoot 3 - 23 fg for Golden State.
