Well Lowry and Derozen seem to have found themselves again. they have shot 28-42 from the field thats gonna give you a chance. Biyombo's stock continues to rise. I'm surprised at thsi win I figured the Cavs would come back with a vengeance...I guess not.

I really thought halfway through the 4th quarter that LeBron was going to put the team on his back and carry them to victory. He was unbelievable in the 4th, creating easy shots for everyone. Yes, Frye was unconscious, but LeBron was the reason Cleveland made their first 10 shots of the quarter. He showed again that he is the best player in the league.

I didn't think Toronto defended the 3 as well tonight as they did in Game 3...Smith and Love just didn't hit their shots. I'm sensing a Cavs blowout Wednesday night.

Lebron once again shied away from taking over in the last 3 minutes. It's why I don't think he's the best player in the league. So many of these games are won in the last 3 minutes and Lebron just doesn't have that MJ or Kobe ability to close. Can you be the best player without being a closer?

I think it's just that Cavs won't have as good wing defenders than for example Indiana had. Also they won't have anyone whom could stop Lowry. Irving is pretty bad defender and even tough Delly hustles well, he is not elite defender because he lacks lateral quickness.

DeRozan and Lowry were so good tonight that Cavs had to change lineup so that it would match better with Toronto. Shumpert got some of the minutes instead Smith to defend Lowry and he is much less effective in offense.

Frye seams to be better fit for the role that Cavs have for Love. Frye is better three point shooter and less liability in defensive end. Inreresting to see if Cavs will consider trading Love this summer.

Lebron has that unselfish mentality that's one of great aspects of his game and it also is a weakness. I appreciate him for who he is and isn't in that regard but he is frustrating at times. CP3 is too unselfish also sometimes he should just take over and he has the ability to do so. That's something that was a critic of KG too.

I agree, Monster. I remember McHale used to define KG against that criticism by saying that KG "made the right basketball play." What he meant was KG gave the ball up to the guy with the best shot. The problem with that thinking is that the best player probably has a better chance of scoring with a lower percentage shot than his teammates who may have a higher percentage look. Michael, Kobe, Larry, Charles and even Magic had the attitude that in crunch time, they were their team's best chance to score regardless of what looks their teammates might have. Yet, even Michael would give the ball up for the big shot occasionally as he did with Paxon and Kerr. But he was very selective in choosing to give up the ball and did so only when a dead-eye shooter like Kerr or Paxon had a completely open look. LeBron and CP3 will give the ball up to anyone with a better look then they have.

Good points. To me that's what sets Jordan apart for me. He was unbelievably good in getting his teammates involved and taking on the scoring load when called for. Well I'm sure he didn't do that right away but when I really started watching him play it was when he was winning those titles. I imagine Phil had something to do with that but Jordan was always a good passer but it was the feel of the game and deferring often early in the game and then taking over at the end of quarters. His team yes had been involved and they were more than willing to do everything else to win because Jordan had made them a pet of the team. When he did give them an opportunity they were ready. Kobe made some passes but it often felt like it was cause I'm yeah it was the right play and Kobe is smart but it always felt to me like some of his passing was begrudging. I never thought he was as good as Jordan was in that area but he was still good at it despite his desire to shoot the hell out of the ball...a lot. Lol

To me that is what I actually enjoyed about Love when he played here. He actually played a lot within the offense. That last year he really stepped up his passing which was always a good part of his game and as much as he could for what he had he made some plays at the end of games. I really thought it would go better with him with the Cavs because of his skill set and the way he played within a system while he was here. Whatever the numbers he has still been good there but Inwas expecting him to be more effective offensively than he has. Oh well. Lol

That's what I want. After 5 years I'm really tired of seeing LeBron in the finals. I also want to see KD stay in OKC and feel like a title would help those chances.
