Remember when we had to create almost all the discussion about the Timberwolves ourselves. With such promising guys... it's being done for us on the national level now.

Reads very much like the author had a A LOT of access to the coaching/training staff on this one. Less about the ins and outs on the court and more about the process behind the scenes. "See we're just building the foundation here, give us more time."

Good read - thanks for posting. There's a lot to take in from it. It does touch on many things we've already hashed over on this board. Did anyone else possibly detect a little "pro Sam Mitchell" angle in this piece? It seemed to reflect favorably on him based on my quick read.

Yes, that's where I was going with my last paragraph. Most of it read like it was from the coaching staff's perspective... even beyond the quotes.

Great article. Wish things would have progressed quicker this year, but incremental improvement is still improvement. I do believe Wiggins is pushing to that point where the game is going to open up for him completely.

Great article. It also echos the Britt Robson sentiment that Wiggins calibrates his energy level to whether it's "worth it" or not on any given play or matchup. If it's LeBron, hell yeah, he's in 5th gear. If it's Jae Crowder....may be not so much. Yet any NBA wing worth his salt can burn you if you let up too much. And we've seen guys like Crowder do that against Wiggins. I think the same thing applies to those 50/50 rebounds and loose balls. If Wiggins calculates it as 70% against success, he won't make the extra effort. But what about the other 30% of the time?

That was a great piece a lot of good stuff both from Wiggins side and from the wolves organization.

We're not permitted to discuss Wiggins' effort level. It's subjective and that's a big no-no. You might get your hand slapped for doing that.
I do agree with what you said here, though.
