I've been it in the face with the ball, forearm, elbow. I've never taken three steps back with quivering knees leaving my man wide open to drill a jumper. He gave up defending and tried to get the offensive foul call. That's weak sauce.
Some of these shots the Suns have made tonight are just ridiculous. Step-back 3's with guys in their face, etc. It started with Brandon Knight, but others got in on the act too. Our defense hasn't been great, but it's not like these are wide open looks they are making.
I played basketball and taken my fair share of elbows, forearms and basketballs. You don't run down court right after it and commit an obvious foul when you know the refs are looking for retaliation, not to mention it being in the 4th quarter and a close game.
