He does reasonably well with PER because he's a volume scorer and PER loves volume on anything (except fouls and turnovers of course). How is his RPM, VORP, and Win Shares? Other metrics that look more at On/Off differentials, team defense, and overall efficiency don't quite see him progressing at the same rate as those others.
That being said, he's on a solid path to become an elite scorer in this league. I'm not quite sure he'll ever reach a Durant or Harden level of elite volume AND efficiency, but he's certainly capable if he keeps working on that 3-point shot.
I like VORP and Win Shares a lot. RPM - not as much, but I know some people like it. I'm totally fine with you using those as measuring sticks. But just keep in mind if those are the barometers you are now saying are the "Best", then it completely takes away your ability to rip on Gorgui Dieng anymore. Are you ready to crown Dieng as our second best player based on VORP? Because I know you in particular have been pretty hard on Dieng in the past....you can't have it both ways.

Carlos, I don't have one metric I favor over any others. My answer to which ones I look at and value is, "All of the Above", combined with good old fashioned observation. PER has it's flaws and the others do too. So I'm not suggesting that any of those other stats are worth more individually than PER. I'm just saying that they provide mixed signals on Wiggins.
