My thoughts exactly! They're beginning to believe in themselves, they're starting to expect to win! Next year the playoffs are in reach with just a couple good moves, it'll be a failure IMO if they don't.
We had discussed Petersen and Benz in a different thread, and they are a super solid tandem, but Petersen's said some annoying things tonight.
- Said Shabazz is a "very, very, very valuable player" and that he needs more love. I disagree. I think he gets plenty and isn't as valuable as he hypes him up to be.
- He spent far too long talking about some throwback story of his life that involved Kenny Smith and Ed Pinckney while the actual game was going on. I'm okay with some stories, but make them short and to the point. Sounded like he was rambling and having a conversation that could have been shared off the air.
- He has a super duper man crush on Gorgui Dieng. Early in the game, Dieng took a defensive rebound and went coast to coast and finished over Collison and Curry. It wasn't all that impressive from an offensive standpoint, but rather terrible defense from the Kings backcourt. He then continued to say Dieng should be in the Skills Challenge next year and give Towns a run for his money, which I found to be laughable. G's too damn clumsy for any of that. I've watched that guy fall on his ass because of air being too heavy. The Petersen/Dieng love affair just gets annoying after time.

I think it is natural, we have one of the best crews in the league but we also hear them a lot and we get annoyed by somethings. Sort of like this board, it is a great board but we get annoyed time to time because we hear similar things time to time
