Re: Who makes the final roster spot?
I voted "other". Lorenzo Brown is what he is and would be a 5th PG on the roster, and shooting specialist Damjan "Thank you ma'am" Rudez was 2-19 from the field in FIBA play while amassing 3 rebounds in 68 minutes. Now that we know Pek is out until at least December, I see the biggest roster need right now being a 3rd center rather than a 5th PG. especially with the propensity to foul that Towns showed in Vegas. Maybe Turiaf, if he's healthy?

LST - I agree I would rather see a big but bet Brown will be the guy that makes the team.
Re: Who makes the final roster spot?
@WolvesRadio: Milt Newton joined me during OKC game & said, barring something unforeseen, roster is set. 15 guys w/ guaranteed contracts will make team.
I like Brown but I can't argue with this. Rudez gives the team 3 point shooting moves the ball and can played a variety positions. He seems like a pretty solid deep bench guy that knows what he can do and does that. He has proven more than Brown in the NBA even if it's just that he can hit a 3 that's more valuable than anything Brown has shown. Might as well play Tyus when you can if you are serious about development.
Another note obviously Rudez at 29 is not a young guy and compared to Brown at 25 there isn't likely much upside. However let's say for some reason Rudez sticks around as a 3 point specialist and in 3 years the Wolves are in the playoff hunt. Rudez will be 32 and his game isn't based on athletic ability he will probably still have a couple years left. I only bring up that point because the people like me see developing Brown long term should know that to a certain extent keeping any player beyond a couple years in this league can be tough and Brown would have to develop into something pretty solid as a backup to be worth getting too worried about when it comes to development. If he didn't have that legit SG length I wouldn't be that excited about him. He will keep bouncing around and maybe at some point take a nice payday in an overseas league but he will probably end up on an NBA roster this year for a 10 day contract or 2 and play in the D-league. He would have been a good guy to have with a Wolves affiliate D-league team.

You do realize Andrew's brother is older than him and is only here because of Andrew right? Nick is 24 and only getting looks because of who his brother is. The same thing happened with Giannis' brother. They're D League guys who get camp invites because of their brothers. He's certainly not Eli and teams have just consistently missed on him.

Yeah, I originally voted LoBrow, but frankly, I'm kind of ambivalent at this point. If Rubio can't stay healthy, we're screwed either way. Rudez does do one thing really well, which I like, but damn, that's literally all he can do. I think the days of 3-point specialists (who aren't good at anything else) are numbered. It's becoming more and more of a baseline expectation for a lot of perimeter-oriented players. You just have to have that shot in your arsenal.

KG can slide over to C and we play NB, AP and Rudez at the 4 if we really need help at C. I think the roster is set. I think they'll definitely keep 7 in the frontcourt to cover for injuries which means Rudez over LB. I still can't believe we're keeping Rudez and Prince over AB. When it comes to the 13-15 spots I would rather keep developmental talent over specialists at this point in the rebuild. If we really got to the point where the 4th PF has to play, wouldn't we have been better off using that time to see what Bennett can do instead of Rudez jacking up 3's and doing not much else?

I voted for Lo Brow but honestly I don't really care. I also miss Robbie
