I had no idea Sid was still writing for the Star Tribune. And I read the online version at work all the time...

Ugh...Sid is so fucking annoying. I wish he could be forced into retirement because he's been bad for years now. He's way off the wagon with this take. You bring in the right GM and coach now to build continuity moving forward. You don't keep the same bad coach just to keep continuity for the young guys. Get someone who knows what they're doing before it's too late.

Not genius. I get perhaps wanting to keep Newton and Mitchell around in their previous roles, but they do not need to have their hands on the steering wheel of this party bus.

I sat next to Sid on a flight to Florida for a Super Bowl about 10 years ago. He was like a walking corpse than. If they don't want to force him to retire they just need to not publish his work anymore. I am sure he has no idea how to go online so you could just print a special paper for hm with his work and he wouldn't be anywiser about it.

It is kind of like Fran Tarkenton. I just want the Vikings to win a Superbowl with Teddy so we don't have to hear about the good old days anymore.

I heard Sid on the radio with his kid a few months ago. It was unintentionally hilarious... or intentional.

Nearly everything Sid said... Chad had to correct for him. Is that part of their bit?

And people wonder why the Twin Cities is known as Loserville.

Are we sure he is still alive? In all honesty i thought he was a prick to the flight crew. Things like that bug me.

Cam, "genius" is a name Sid uses for people with whom he disagrees. Regarding this article I disagree wholeheartedly with Sid.
