I'm not a huge fan of Conley. (although I loved him when he was drafted, which wasn't exactly the prevailing thinking)

I think he's a very solid PG. But he's a bit of a placeholder. And he's not super young. Is his defense still as good as it used to be?

That's why I like Barnes more than Batum. He can play 4/3 for us and not cause a potential problem with 3 guys who should start and having to bring one off the bench. MPG's are nice, but these are pro basketball players. They want to start. Who's to say if we get Batum and bring Zach off the bench that he wouldn't want to go somewhere where he could be a starter? It shouldn't matter, but I guarantee it does to most pro basketball players in their youth and prime.
