If not him, how about Larry Riley? Arguably the real architect of the Golden State Warriors. Was demoted before they reached their pinnacle, but he put in some heavy lifting for that organization. Not to mention he has 23 years experience in the NBA and is currently the Director of Scouting for the Warriors. That's an area they've been supreme at and you'd think a lot of that might be because of him. We think about Curry, Thompson, Green and Barnes because they're the bigger names, but how about Ezeli and even Bazemore who they drafted, left on the bench and eventually traded to the Lakers. He has a decent track record and I bet he's hungry for another chance to be the decision maker somewhere.
Marks would have been a good get for the Wolves. But it is no surprise that Taylor did not make a move. He will evaluate things at the end of the season, like he said he would.
So, today is Milt's last day to make his mark on this team, isn't it? Will he make a move? Or are his hands tied?
