Are we sure he is still alive? In all honesty i thought he was a prick to the flight crew. Things like that bug me.

Heh, I know someone that worked with him at 'CCO (not an on-air person, but someone that worked behind the scenes) and said he could be a real jerk. I think there are some old sound bites of him floating around out there - out takes if you will - of him losing it and going off on people.

Hey that was less crazy than I was expecting.

Did anyone else see the Robbie Hummel nugget near the bottom? Funny Sid didn't do a little more digging to find out more about what Hummel is doing at Purdue besides just sitting on the sideline with his bum shoulder. A simple Google search reveals he is helping out the team as sort of an unofficial internship and even staying at coach Painter's house.

Q12543 it doesn't surprise me. I regret not saying something to him.=, but I just acted like I had no clue who he was. I did tell the attendants that I am sorry they have to deal with a-holes like him as we deplaned.

Friend of mine had a run in with Bud Grant. He was working with him selling hunting gear. Bud pulled out the "Do you know who I am?" He honestly had no clue saying "A guy that likes hunting and fishing?" Bud Grant appreciated that he was helpful and not trying to be a kiss ass. He would come back to the store and look for him.

The unfortunate passing of Flip puts us in this position. Sam got stuck in the middle, trying to move forward with a team on Flip's vision. I wasn't too excited about Sam in the first place, but this team needs a fresh start and vision. That needs to be with the POBO and Coach being on the same page. I am sorta glad that Sam was the interim guy because he might have strongly been considered the replacement had he been on the outside. Now it is up to Taylor to hire the right people. Time will tell.

I stopped reading Sid's column a decade ago, I stopped believing anything I read in Sid's column many years prior to that.

Someone tweeted that the Wolves say he is not skipping sessions but working on other types of strength exercises in the training room. That sounds more likely than him skipping that just doesn't sound like Wiggins.
