What the fuck are you still talking about? Martin isn't any value in that hypothetical Gallo trade. He's there to match salaries. That's it. The juicy part of that deal for Denver would be a potential top-five or whatever pick we have. We discuss trading the pick for a quality young-ish veteran all the time. I threw out a name and how we'd have to match salaries to do it. And yet you're still acting like a moron towards me. Are you reading anything I'm saying? If not, don't even bother commenting to me.

If and when K Mart opts in on his player option for next season it gives us a handy expiring contract.

Kiwi gets it.

Cam, What the fuck are you mad about and why acting like a moron? Im saying what your are suggesting will most likely NOT happen. My stance has always been martin wont get us any value, doesn't matter if he is being used as a contract dump or what.

Jesus. I can't do this with you, man. I still don't think you're fully understanding what I'm saying. Regardless...

Go Wolves. Fuck David Kahn.

I think the Rubio/Milwaukee trade will be revisited this offseason. I think Milt, smartly, was only going to make a trade if he were blown away. There will be a new coach next year, so it's wise just to wait and see what fits where.

I agree. This is something to look out for come draft time.

Yep. Milwaukee might be our only trade partner for Ricky this summer. Kudos to Milt for not giving up Bazz or Dieng. Hoping we can buyout KMart and get Pek to retire.

This tweet has a link to audio of Milt's media availability after the deadline.

Good stuff. Thanks for posting. I wrote it earlier in the week and I'll type it again - not doing any deals is/was the best thing they could've done. Even dumping Kmart for some garbage back didn't make sense because it's better to just have the cap space vs. getting stuck with some crap contracts back. Let the next Coach/GM use that cap space in addition to the new cap limit to add a quality Free Agent that they want.

I think Milt has done alright by the Franchise as interim GM. He hasn't done anything great....but at least he hasn't screwed things up more which is all you really ask out of an interim. We have a young, affordable core. Let's add another top 10 pick, and a good Free Agent and I think we're almost there (along with coach - of course).

Not to nitpick, but he is not "interim" GM he is and has been THE GM of the Wolves under Flip. We just don't have a VP right now who oversees and has final say. I agree though, he hasn't made any bad moves which is positive.

Lets not act like this guy is some schmuck though. He worked closely with Flip and we don't really know which deals were his idea or Flips, etc. Flip just had final say.

I wouldn't be so sure. That, to this point, doesn't seem like something Newton wants to do. Other NBA teams likely didn't offer anything of value because he is a buyout candidate, but there's really zero incentive for the Wolves to do that right now.

The only incentive to do so now is if Martin agrees to a lesser buyout so that he can try to get on a playoff team.

It's the way you responded and acting like Cam was crazy for what he suggested. Martin will have value as an expiring contract for a team looking to shed long term salary. No where was Cam implying Martin would be the main part of deal. I wouldn't be surprised to see a deal like our 1st, maybe Bazz or Payne & Martin for a really good youngish player.
