Since he's been out the Ws are rare and the defense is much worse . Is he most responsible for the wins we do have this year? I mean it's not completely out of line thinking.
He helped set a good tone, but in my opinion he never played enough to be responsible for any wins. Hard to have that big of an impact on the game in only 15 minutes.
Fair enough, coincidence then of him not playing and the losses beginning to pile up. .
KG's only played in 38 of 56 games this season. That's roughly two out of every three games to this point. He plays 15 minutes of game time when he actually does play. We won 14 of the 38 games he played in. That's a winning percentage of a whopping 36.8%. We're 3-15 without KG.
My thoughts? It's less about KG and more about who's getting playing time when he's out. Payne and Rudez have been ridiculously bad. KG when he's on the court has been a positive, but it's so small of an impact that to give him credit for even a single when is absurd, in my opinion.
Kgs played in 14 of the 17 games we've won. I don't think there's anything wrong with acknowledging that even in his old age he's as responsible for wins as anyone else on this team.

I said he's been good when he's been on the floor, but no, you can't say he's as responsible as anyone for wins because he plays in less than one-third of the game.

What are Kgs plus/minus numbers in those games compared to everyone else?

Wait. You are using KG's +/- to justify his impact but they don't mean shit for Rubio?

I thought the same thing. Chuckled to myself.
Actually, quite the opposite. Waiting to hear your responses than pointing out how you guys live and die by the plus minus. So what was KGs plus minus in those games?
Look long and hard, I've never said it doesnt matter but you guys have become slaves to the plus minus. Might as well use it to my advantage too.

Nice try Pork.
That's not an answer. I still haven't heard an explanation for why Rubio would've made such a difference in the years he was hurt, but now when he's playing and the team is still losing we shouldn't expect Ricky to be a player that moves the needle.
Which one is it?

We win more games when Rubio plays versus not plays. That has been true throughout his career.
