Re: Back to the draft...
You say Parker is your number 1. If you are more accurate than the guys who get paid, then Cleveland should take him #1 because he is BPA according to you and many others and they have a hole at the 3. Why haven't I seen a single mock draft play out that scenario if he is number 1 according to you? Do you see what I am getting at? You have him 1 and say many others do as well. Cleveland has a hole that he fills. Why has he never gone #1 in any recent mocks? Not ESPN, nor nbadraft.net or draft express. That's my point. If he was the BPA, he'd be going #1 to the Cavs because of being BPA and the fit. I have yet to see that be the prediction from anyone which is why it doesn't make sense to go against the guys actually talking to these teams than the guys who are just guessing.
Our disagreement was you essentially saying you know the Jazz's draft thoughts more than the guys actually talking to the Jazz because they would only take him for basketball reasons and not include the background at all. Jabari's fit in the city is just as much the reason he goes 5 as basketball reasons because that is what was reported by the guy talking to the Jazz. To say that is just false without having any insider knowledge yourself comes off as either uninformed or stubborn to known information. How do you think it comes off when you say something that was reported by an insider is just wrong without providing anything but an opinion to back it up

Re: Back to the draft...
I have seen Zach LaVine mentioned a lot here, and he even pops up in the top ten in some mocks. I am completely baffled by this. I'm struggling to find a parallel for this situation...where a guy couldn't get starting minutes with his college team, but ended up going top ten.
I only saw him live once last season, but several times on TV. He was a complete nonfactor the one time I saw him live. He came off the bench and played timidly in the few minutes he played. While he showed some promise early in the year, mostly against weaker teams in pre-season games, he did not look ready for Pac 12 play later in the year, much less the NBA. If you look at his stats, you will see he only reached double figures 4 times in his final 18 games. In fact, he only scored 8 points TOTAL in three NCAA tournament games, even though the first two games were against low seeded teams. He likes to say he is a PG, but he is not a good distributor, struggled when pressured or double-teamed, and averaged fewer than 2 assists per game. He can certainly jump high, I will give him that. But to compare him to a Gary Harris, Nik Stauskas or Doug McDermott is folly.
Can anybody that saw him a lot last year tell me what I'm missing? I see a guy who was physically unprepared for the Pac 12, and he would certainly get pushed around more in the NBA. I don't think he is Flip's kind of guy, and I hope he stays off his radar.

Love's out.
Wolfson: "Love asked directly if the rumors are true he wants out. Hesitated then went with, "My agent is handling everything..." #twolves"

I didn't blame Lebron for leaving the cavs, I won't blame Love for leaving the Wolves

I won't either, but I don't like how he's handled this so far. Just like I didn't like how LeBron handled it.

There's really no way to look good in wanting out. Maybe KG, where it got to the point of trading him out of pity

Atta boy Kevin. Talk Cleveland into it.

Re: Back to the draft...
A year ago Ruesse ripped the Wolves for not trading Love for Waiters Thompson and #1. I disagreed. I was wrong. But I doubt we get that offer this year
