Re: Back to the draft...
Heads up: It's looking like the Bucks could actually take Exum No. 2 overall. They want to move Knight to SG and of course they like Giannis at SF. Would be a fun twist on draft night.
Also, Wiggins camp prefers Philly. Not sure they or he have a say in it, but it could play a factor in all of this.
1. CLE: Embiid
2. MIL: Exum
3. PHI: Wiggins
4. ORL: Parker
But Orlando does love Smart a ton... Could create a young, exciting two-way backcourt with Smart/Dipo. Let's stay crazy here for a second... Utah takes Vonleh to sure up the frontcourt, figuring him to be the best two-way player on their board.
If Parker falls in Boston's lap, do they take him or trade for Love?
I'd say this is all absurd and crazy, but how many draft surprises have we seen lately?

Re: Back to the draft...
There is 0% chance Parker gets past Utah. Parker is the guy they want in this draft. His Mormon background fits in perfectly with the Utah area. They were devastated when Cleveland jumped in the draft because it left almost no chance for Parker to drop to them. If he drops to 5, they take him and run. If Vonleh is there at 6, I think you make the deal with Boston. I don't want any part of Sullivan, but I'd take Olynyk, picks and short contracts to make the deal work. That way you get a young rotation of Vonleh/Olynyk/Dieng at the 4 and 5.

Religious background doesn't factor into draft decisions. If they took Parker it's for basketball reasons. I remember several years ago when Jimmer was projected to go to Utah and they passed on him. Obviously different talents, but the point is the same.

He fits in perfectly on and off the court. They'll take him for both and to say they would only take him for basketball reasons is naiive. If they only cared about basketball reasons, Wiggins would be higher because he is a better fit on that team. Parker is #1 on the board for basketball and non-basketball reasons. That's just a fact that has already been reported by guys like Ford.

Who is this Sullivan character you are referring to?? :)

Chad Ford is wrong every single year, but that's irrelevant. Again, Parker's No. 1 on my board and likely plenty of others so if they did take him, it is for basketball reasons. He's more of a sure thing than Wiggins is, not to mention in this scenario Wiggins is already off the board. In the end, this debate is pointless.

Then I'll be sure to only pay attention to your opinions in the future instead of the individuals who get paid to cover this stuff and actually talk to people in these basketball organizations. They're always wrong and the arm chair GM's of this board are always right. You clearly have more inside knowledge of the Jazz's situation than Ford. If Parker is such a clear-cut number one, then why aren't the Cavs reportedly just taking him and moving on with Kyrie and Parker. He fills a massive hole on their team and is clearly BPA on your board. I have yet to see one mock with Parker going 1 which says to me that your big board is just off.

Quick temper?
Ford does get paid to cover the draft, but he's also off every year. My point was to not take everything he says as complete truth. He's in the same group as Broussard, in my opinion. And I'm certainly not always right, but in three-four years I usually look pretty good when it comes to the draft. Ford has the ESPN credential, though. You're right.
Also never said Parker was the clear-cut No. 1. You're just making shit up now because you're khans and someone disagreed with you. I said he's No. 1 on my big board. That's MY big board; how I rank the prospects.
Right. All mocks had Anthony Bennett going No. 1 last year. Basing your beliefs on internet mock drafts. You continue to dazzle me with your supreme debating skills.

In regards to Aaron Gordon...
Someone on Twitter: "his agent has to know Minnesota is a possible landing spot with the possibility that they trade Love for a top 10 pick."
Wolfson: "His agent may also have this intel: the Wolves think more highly of Randle and Vonleh."
