They can have a plan, but until they're on the clock, they have no way of knowing exactly who will be available.
Pointless? That would describe some of your threads. Haven't heard much love for Murray or even Hield, but I wouldn't be shocked if Hield is drafted if he's available and Bender is gone.
There is real buzz surrounding Bender and its coming from the reporter covering Israeli basketball while it seems the the buzz about Dunn is being generated from Dunn's camp.
Don't get hurt by that "pointless" comment. What's the point with this thread? There really isn't one. Also, I haven't even created a thread in quite some time now (besides my big board), by the way. You might want to pay attention to my activity on the forum even more than you already do.
We're weeks away from the draft and you're declaring that Player A is the pick if he's available. I'll start a thread titled, "If Ingram/Simmons is there at No. 5, Wolves take him." It's June 6th. It means nothing.
As for Murray...
@stevekylerNBA: "Was told yesterday Murray is very real for the Wolves if he's there at 5. Hield may not be defensive minded enough."
Again, it's just a rumor that may or may not be true. Minnesota's decision makers still have much to do in preparation for the end of this month.

In what way is he trolling he is making the point that every player that we believe could be drafted at 5 has had some NBA reporter report that we are going to pick that player. Like I said it is all rumors and why would Thibs let anything slip when Boston is in good trade position to get out of the pick.
Settle down there Rick! Man, some folks are touchy lately.
It's absolutely fine to make the post. But this is one of those, "Thanks, Captain Obvious" type posts. Of course they will look at Bender. He is projected top 5....and we are top 5. But we will also bring in probably 15 other guys. Most, if not all, will have some positive commentary about their workouts.....because that's what teams do.
Lets be honest, the Wolves SHOULD BE working out Bender when he comes over. Might not mean anything, other than they need to evaluate him like any team picking in the top 5 (or top 10) should be doing.

I am respectful to those deserving respect, so lets just leave it at that. I'd rather stick to basketball and particularly, the Wolves though. Its funny that those who are critical with this thread are completely fine with the thread where the Wolves are going to draft Dunn and Ricky is on his way out. Same old tired anti-Ricky BS.

Just saying the two people (Cam and Myself) who disagreed with the forum have consistently backed Rubio and both defended Ricky in the Dunn thread

That's not what I meant. I meant going out of your way to attack a thread as "pointless" when the whole point is to provide an alternative view to the other thread that says we are definitely drafting Dunn and its Adios Ricky. I believe if we have a choice between Dunn and Bender, we will choose Bender. Last year when some created threads hyping up Russell or Okafor, I did the same for KAT.
Personally, I like reading the reports/speculation/Tweets that people like Team Ricky post. Keep 'em coming Team Ricky. As far as those calling this thread "pointless", well, that could apply to half the stuff on this board. There are hundreds of pages of draft speculation, trade speculation and free agent speculation. Why is this post any different? I see nothing wrong with posting news that the Wolves will be working out Bender and would consider him at #5 if he's there. None of us have a crystal ball that shows what will actually happen. But to me, filtering through all this stuff helps pass the time of the long off-season.
