Yes, he has. And this should serve as a reminder that our #1 pick is unlikely to be a difference maker in the first couple of years...

Nice stay on the unheralded hero of the Warriors
Marc Gasol & Zach Randolph when defended by Andrew Bogut in Game 6:

Points: 4
FG: 2-13
FG at Rim: 1-6
Shots Blocked: 3

I am pulling for the Rockets. I think a Warriors and Rocket series would be very fun to watch.

CP3 played well in this game but he still drives me nuts. Take over man score.

The Clippers just played sort of meh in this game. I couldn't decide what team I wanted to win but I couldn't keep cheering for the clippers they just sort of meh. Houston isn't an amazing team but they played with more grit today and that's why they won imo.

Brewer keeps doing his thing I love seeing him do well but it sucks it's with another team.

We got Troy Daniels and a 2nd rounder for Corey Brewer.

Laughable.

I love seeing Brewer do well but it sucks it is for another team. The return got us the Kings 2nd rounder which is some decent value and we also are likely to get Houston's 2nd rounder next year as well and even though that's a low pick it's still worth having. Obviously I would rather have Brewer.

Good article on the Grizzlies: http://sports.yahoo.com/news/lack-outside-shooting-costs-grizzlies-playoffs-again-161008905--nba.html

There is nothing wrong with an inside-out approach to the game, with skilled post players like Gasol and Randolph (although I'd argue Gasol is probably at his best in the high post as a facilitator) being focal points. The problem is regardless of what kind of system you run, you have to have very good 3-point shooting, now more than ever.

I wanted the Grizzlies to succeed because there is something to be said for their grind-it-out/go big approach. But they simply didn't have the offensive horsepower (i.e. 3-point shooting) to get past Golden State.

For those of you looking to unload Kevin Martin, Memphis would be a good place to start.

Tony Allen is a wonderful player. Plus, he's fun.

But it was almost sad to see what Golden State did to him in Game 5. They begged him to shoot from deep. And it's just not his game.

In a league of specialists, including many shooting specialists, the Grizzlies haven't found a consistent one. That surprises me a bit.
