I believe Lip says Cousins is a no go for Flip. I love cousins but at this point no way you do that trade for a wide variety of reasons. One of them is Cousins is getting nearer to that magical time when bigs like him start having more injury problems and he has had some already. If you are going to go all in on a C do it on a young one or one with less issues than Cousins although he is the most talented C in the league.

Woj tweeted (a douche but he is informed) something about it , that the Towns camp might not be agreeable with the Wolves during this draft process. Once again he can't fully force his way but he can make it difficult on the wolves to evaluate him in the pre draft process and where there is two comparable talents in Towns and Okafor. The one less trouble some will more than likely be our pick

Disappointing if true.

But either way, take the best player on your board. Last time we shy'd away from a player who refused the workout we took Flynn over Steph Curry.

This I agree with, but it will be tough to gauge Towns against Okafor if he doesn't work out, with players this close, the one who doesnt work out is more than likely the one not being drafted. I hope both work out for the Wolves

Workouts are nice but I don't put that much stock in them. These guys have watched both guys play plenty they have a pretty good idea about them. If this Towns thing is at all legit it sucks but we will see if it's legit or not. Wasn't there some rumor Parker didn't want to go somewhere last year and it turned out to be false? I can't believe how bad I want Towns over Okafor.

Towns would be a complete d-bag if he pulls that move, and my respect for him would go from sky high (because I hear he's very coachable and very humble) to that of a prima donna

This is the Woj tweet, I honestly cant tell if it is Woj opinion or a source he has.

If Karl-Anthony Towns is determined to get to Lakers, it'll be interesting to see how agreeable his camp will be to meeting with Minnesota.

I'm so sick of these fucking kids that kick and scream to try to get what they want. You're a rookie. You're a nobody until you prove to be somebody on the court. I hate that the league lets these guys act like rock stars. Get your ass to the combine. Test and play and quit bitching. The players association needs to up the professionalism of the draft process and force everyone to participate because they are basically allowing players to withhold information from teams that are required to pay them millions of dollars if they chose to select them.

kek is probably right on this one that it's just Woj thinking out loud.

The Wolves SHOULD be an attractive destination for a rookie top overall pick. Sure they stink right now, but if the veterans could ever stay healthy, combine that with the young up-and-coming talent on this roster and you could really have something, but now and in the future.

So many comments on something that is so little of a factor. Every player in the draft would love to play in LA> They're well-known, rich and young. That's the dream.

Guess what? Both Towns and Okafor have good heads on their shoulders and neither seem that egotistical. Don't buy too much into that, especially when one place (MIN) is more likely to win than the other (LAL) based on current roster construction and possible futures.

If either don't workout (what I think in the end they will both workout) I think that will make Flips decision much easier for better or worse
