Re: Wolves vs. Warriors GDT
I'm still bitter that I missed the first game when I had close tickets (I only go to one game per year).
I have an awkward man crush on Steph Curry. The only difference from 97% of the rest of the basketball world... mine goes back to his days at Davidson. Full disclosure: I actually dug his backcourt mate Jason Richards even more when Curry burst on the scene.
Richards was the prototypical pass-first collegiate PG. His graduation opened the door to Curry playing PG his final season... something that I think was critical for his future success in the pros.

LOL. Good barometer test for our starting five. I think we're assuming a blow out. But I'm going to try and watch some of the individual match ups when both starting units are out there.
And isn't it time to free Bjelica? I'm not even a fan of his. But for crying out loud - let's get more film on the guy so we can make a decision going forward.

Hope our starting five puts on a show, especially Towns, who I feel has a legitimate argument for All-NBA 3rd team. I'd also like to see Rubio have one of his hot-ish shooting nights. Tonight's a game I'd like to win. I personally can't stand the Warriors at all.

I feel the same way about the Warriors. Something smug about them. This will be a great test for our starting 5. The Warriors are healthy and highly motivated by their quest for the Bulls regular season win record. So a Wolves win tonight would be huge for our team. I usually don't have much time for so-called "moral victories," but just staying close to the Warriors tonight would be what I'd call a legitimate moral victory.
I'll be at a season ticket holder dinner with front office staff before the game tonight. We'll see if I can get any valuable insights or information to share with you guys.

Fun fact, Curry has 337 3's this year in 65 games Or just 24 less than the Timberwolves team as a whole!

I don't get the Warriors hate.
A team that puts team goals first and foremost. Former All Stars willingly taking bench roles. Team camaraderie. Media access without 7 handlers and agents skewing every message. Every time.
And the passing. And the shooting. Granted, I was also a fan of the Nash-led Suns... so you can probably guess what I dig while watching the NBA...

We're not so different, I like both of those teams as well. I'm a basketball purist. The '86 Celtics, '77 Trail Blazers, most of the good Spurs teams, and any team Bobby Knight ever coached.

I think you mean any team Bobby Knight ever ruled with an iron chair throwing kung fu grip.
