Christ, can someone please take Bjelica aside and teach him what is and isn't allowed in the NBA in terms of contact!? He's literally played 0 minutes and 0 seconds and already has a foul!

Just want to point out to those who are against drafting a center high (Poeltl) that Towns has been playing power forward the last 20 games plus tonight, or since Dieng was inserted into the starting lineup. He's been guarding opposing 4's just fine since that move, and still getting his share of blocks (1.8 BPG) and his offensive production is still borderline elite (18.7 PPG, 11.6 RPG, 2.5 APG, 56.7% from the field).

A big part of why drafting Towns was the right move was his versatility. He's great at both PF or C, and that helps you as an organization find the right/best partner in the frontcourt. Don't be so close-minded as to pencil Towns into one position. Greatness will be greatness regardless of position. If you don't believe me, ask Tim Duncan.

Note: For those that are huge Dieng fans, please don't take this comment as a shot at Dieng. I've been thoroughly impressed with his play over the last 20 games (13.8 PPG, 8.8 RPG, 2.4 APG, 1.2 SPG, 1.4 BPG, 58.2% FG, 77.3% FT) and the season overall has been good for him. I'm still not sold on him being a starting big when this team is ready to compete, but him in the starting lineup has been quite good for a chunk of this season so I'm not slamming the door shut on that idea. It is blatantly obvious that we still need another big or two and if our worst option is having Dieng or Poeltl (insert good big here) coming off the bench to spell the other or Towns, that's far from being a bad thing at all.

Didn't love how easy Bud just got by Wiggins there... wonder if he just plain didn't think he'd drive. Yikes.

Couldn't agree more. His ability to play the 4 when the league is trending small could be a massive advantage going forward. He's only going to get better, which is scary.

Ricky's phenomenal tonight. If he can shoot like this all bets are off.

Didn't you declare yourself 100% Pork Chop like a month and a half ago? I think us on the Rubio train might allow you back on, though. We're a reasonable bunch. :thumb:

Hahahaha, who are you Abe? But seriously, you're right. I can take the embarrassment. I've always liked Ricky, and no one is happier that he is playing like this. And how about the Ricky - Wiggins combination? That is shear greatness from those two guys in the half.

Wow, a well executed alley oop play to end the half by the wolves! That is refreshing!

What a half it is great that the wolves are up 10 with towns only scoring 2 points. I am liking this team right now
