I don't know if any of you watched the Kings/Clippers game last night, but it was fun to watch Derrick on his new team. Good game too. With Paul and Reddick out, Sac-town was able to keep it competitive at home, but in the end the Clips prevailed. Williams played like most of us probably thought he would in his debut...very active and engaged on both offense and defense. Played about 30 minutes...all at SF. He got the crowd excited with 3 alley-oops, including one where he caught the ball one-handed high above the rim and slammed it home. The Clipper announcers mentioned a few times how happy he looked to be out of Minnesota.
I have observed Derrick's lack of consistent motor for 2+ years, so I don't expect him to sustain the level he played at last night. I'm going to watch him tomorrow night again against the Warriors.
But if he is somehow able to play well at SF for the Kings, it's likely to change my opinion of Adelman.

12 points, 6 rebounds and 3 or 4 assists if I remember right. 6-14 shooting? I don't feel like looking at the box score so that's just off memory. Sac plays a more loose offense so I expect D-Will to play better there than he did here. I still don't expect him to scratch his potential, though.
By the way, welcome back LST. Board wasn't right without ya. Lol

Re: The Lion...out of his cage
well, he got some dunks but made just 1 jumpshot if i remember well, i would definitely expect him to bring energy on both ends, but if there is starting SF who should not prove that DW cannot guard SF it is Jared Dudley .. man, we all know that DW is great athlete but beside that he brings nothing

Beasley will never be a factor on a winning team, nor will his twin.
