We all knew Love wasn't athletic, it's not about just discovering that. For me Love's skill set was so unique I needed to see if those skills could outweigh the negative parts of his game, athleticism included. At this point I don't think they outweigh enough for me to consider Love a top player on a contending team.

In order for a team with Love on it to be a true contender you would need 3-4 above average defenders with one of them being a center and a go-to player. It would take more than just slight improvements to reach these criteria.
