Phenom, preach brother. I'm with you.
Re: Game Report - Wolves v. Heat
Ricky Rubio had a bad game. But the worst thing is that looks very frustrated and unhappy. Right now, I think he's already contemplating the day he leaves here. He played much better on the offensive end 2 years ago. The difference? He has no athletes to play with this season.
I do not doubt that this is accurate. It's just very depressing

That is the thing about Rubio though. If he is not happy, he will not succeed. There is a very limited opportunity for Rubio to be successful in this league and it really is based on the type of players he is matched with. Much like Rondo's success early in his career, Rubio needs to defer to more talent in a set offense and provide wild card type plays when things break down. If we can't make Rubio successful by surrounding him with proper complimentary players there is no point in keeping him here to watch him fail as the go to guy.

Miami has 4 back to backs from the opener-Dec. 25.
Wolves have 8. I'm just sayin'.
Somewhere David Stern is watching our struggles and nodding.

Our schedule has been hard but if we are a good team somewhere we need to rise above our expectations. There has yet to be a game this year that I would call a surprise win (beating a better team, winning both of a back to back). We have lost all of our close games save the first OT game (which never should have been an OT game) and have yet to beat a good team.

Very good point Doper. We seem to be more interested in making excuses than actually trying to win a game.
We must have been rusty on Saturday due to the long layoff! :)
