This has to be the one aspect of Adelman's coaching that gets to me. He seems to wrapped up in matching rather than forcing the issue. Make them adjust to us and matchup with us. If they are playing 3 guards post up Willams for 3 sets and see how long it lasts. We matched small ball and got burned by them dumping it inside and running over Cunningham and Love (when Vucevic was on him).

D-Will will see a decent amount of playing time in the first half of the season. Anyone who says differently is overracting by more than a little.
I think some folks are slightly overstating Brewer's positives tonight. Just look at Afflalo's stats and think back to how many easy buckets he had. However, I still agree generally with those who are praising Brewer. For all his shortcomings, he's a winner. He makes key winning plays. As Kevin McHale once told a group of us in a season ticket holder dinner, every winning team needs a player like Corey. I also agree that Brewer serves this team best as a starter. I didn't think that before tonight's game, but watching tonight's game finally got that point through my thick head. Playing with our starters allows Brewer to focus on his strengths and it minimizes his weaknesses. I know I've gotten down on Corey a bit in some of my posts, but I'll state here once and for all that I'm glad Flip signed him.
