Let's not forget the Thunder played like cr@p, but that doesn't take anything away from the fact that we played great.

And it started by banging down low offensively, and playing tenacious team defense.

I really hope this team can get a bunch of wins in to start the season and develop a winning chemistry. I think a big problem over the last few years has been a culture of complacency. It's like guys went into games expecting to lose, and then playing like it. I want to see this team get to the point where they going on confident they can win, and then working hard to make it happen. The more wins we get, the more likely that will be to happen.

Drew, We had a winning team last year but they all got hurt or were recovering from being hurt (i.e. Rubio). The fact we won 30+ games with duct tape and gum was pretty damn impressive.

I thought it was nice to see near the end of the game Rubio, Love, Barea, Pek, and Martin all huddled around each other and chatting it up on the bench. Rubio had his arm around Martin and I sensed a real camaraderie amongst those guys.

Was anybody pissed when Perkins smacked Rubio in the head on "accident". I can't stand that guy. Fakest "tough" guy in the NBA. He's also a terrible basketball player for an NBA starting center in all honesty. He's declined ever since he left Boston and I can't believe he gets paid close to $10M this year and the next. Glad Pek dominates his ass every time he plays him.

I would give the game ball to Derrick because after those 2 quick fouls, Rick could have easily subbed him out and that would have been it. Derrick played even harder after that. There was one rebound he took with such emphasis that you could tell this was his game to save, and he did. Love and co. came back and off we went. Great game for all.
