Time to get paid

Post by Mstermisty [enjin:6864008] »

I dropped a large number on the Wolves over 40.5 wins (--115) on Sportsbook yesterday. The current line is 41.5. I put a decent number on the Wolves to win the division at 10 to 1. And I have a couple much smaller sums on them winning the West at 50 to 1 and the title at 100 to 1.

Anybody else rolling the dice?

This feels like the breakout year. Injuries, please stay away!

Betting is the curse of death for me. God has no intention of allowing me to win money on bets. If I put money on the Wolves there would likely be injuries, a stadium collapse and Taylor selling the team along with the Vikings to an LA billionare. I like your confidence though.

I like that 41.5 number - otherwise I'm not rolling any dice!

Its at 41.5 --130 now, so the Wolves are being bet heavily. I'm not really a sports bettor (I stick to poker) but when I saw 40.5 I just thought unless an injury barrage happens again I can't see the team not playing .500 ball. In fact, 41-41 would be a severe disappointment in my mind. As far as the divisional bet goes, once I heard Westbrook was down for 4 to 6 weeks (and may not be himself when he returns) I thought at 10 to1 the Wolves were a solid bet--as good a chance to win the division as anybody if OKC falters.

Everything about this season just has the right feel to it so far, from the key players to the roll players to the coaches to Saunders replacing Kahn. Even Shabazz is getting in line. This is the season the torment ends. If not, I might have to call Saul for a loan.
