My most favorite NBA player
Trying to add a little positivity to the board. I figured lets go with favorite player.
I would say Rubio for me. If I had to say a player that is not on the Wolves. I can't find a reason not to like Durant.

On the Wolves - I would also say Rubio.
bleed, I agree with you about Durant, but after last year playoffs, I must say that my favorite player not on the Wolves is Stephen Curry.

Durant might be the easiest superstar to like in all of sports.

Gotta agree with the everyone else, Kevin Durant. A few years ago it was so much fun watching him go up against the Lakers because anytime Kobe would guard him, he could just shoot over the top of him. Although Durant can do that to pretty much anyone in the league, doing it to Kobe made it that much sweeter.
My all time favorite player is Tracy McGrady. I'm 24 so I didn't get a chance to watch Jordan until his Wizards years so McGrady was my guy. I disliked Kobe so anytime they faced each other was great. I still remember watching his game against the Spurs when he scored 13 points in 35 seconds. I hated Duncan (You had to if you liked the Wolves back then) which made it even better. Few other players I liked growing up were Baron Davis, Rashard Lewis, and Michael Redd.

Re: My most favorite NBA player
Growing up I really liked Vince Carter, Shaq and Carmelo Anthony (in Denver). Those were my guys. Nowadays, I think everybody loves Durant. He's a great guy and a humble basketball player. I have a ton of respect for KD. Someone that you guys might not expect is Jimmy Butler. My buddy is a Bulls fan and like I said one time previous to this is that we watched a TON of games last year on League Pass so I really got to learn about the Bulls. Before the season started he kept telling me about Jimmy Butler aka "Jimmy Boy" or "Jimmy G Buckets And The G Stands For Gets." Well, sure enough the season came and Butler quickly earned my respect. He's a top-5 perimeter defender in the NBA that not enough people talk about. He's an improved shooter and he's hell on wheels in the fastbreak game. What makes Butler even better is that he's a "lunch pail" guy. Always keeps his head right and works as hard as he can. All of these qualities piled into one young man. That's enough to make me a big fan.

Mine always has been always will be MJ, but as far as current has to be LBJ. I know it is easy for many to hate him, but imo he does more than what is asked of any other player on the court off season and on. He is a pretty damn good guy from all accounts off of it as well.

KD is hard not to pick because of his humility and down to earth nature. He also performed miserably in the draft combine athletic testing, with terrible scores in nearly every category. Yet here he is - one of the top 5 players in the NBA.
Another guy I love is Rajon Rondo. He is extremely crafty and has made himself into an elite PG despite being a highly flawed outside shooter.

Rondo's nice, but to me he's assist hungry and can be really selfish. Instead of playing good team basketball, there's times where I see Rondo ballhog to force an assist. It can be as bad as a forced shot by Kobe. It aggravates me sometimes.
