I would give this off season a B+. You have to look at additions vs subtractions. Essentially the only player of real importance we lost is an aging and oft injured Kirilenko. We replaced him with a legit scoring SG in Martin and an athletic defender in Brewer. We also drafted a couple of decent prospects in Muhammad and Dieng as well as signing hands down the best dancer and celebrater in the NBA in Ronny Turiaf. We got our scoring SG without losing Williams and we didn't trade away any future 1sts.

It will take a couple of years for Flip to clean up the mess Kahn created.

I find a lot of things misleading in this post. The wolves if healthy are a team expected to be at least 20 wins better than when Kahn took over. Most expected a PO appearance last season. If AK was "an aging and oft injured" player, what would you call Martin. AK did a little of everything for this team last season, while being our best defender. I would be more excited about our pickups if they weren't so one dimensional. We can only put 5 players on the floor at once.

Basically matty, you just put a rosy spin on everything. There is nothing that suggests that anything the wolves did in the off season couldn't have been accomplished by a tenth grader. We paid high on either salary or years in each deal, sometimes both, and we drafted a problem child and a raw C. Flip took a team that was sitting around the cap and put us up against the luxury tax, so we better see significant improvement.

Ultimately our season will depend on the same things as last season, which is having a healthy Love, Rubio and Pek.
