Who will be Rookie of the Year??????

The 2013 draft will undoubtedly go down as the worst in NBA history. The experts got this one right when they predicted it would be a weak draft, but I don't think they thought first year performance would be this awful. I think most would say MCW and Oladipo would be the frontrunners right now, but each of them are sporting stats that would have them sitting to the left of AJ Price on Rick Adelman's bench:

MCW: the good: 17.1 PPG, 5.4 APG
the bad: 39.5 FG%, 29 3-point%, 3.6 TOPG

VO: the good 14 PPG,
the bad 41FG% (just a little better than JJ), 30 3-point %, 3.2 TOPG (.5 more than any t-wolf)

One of these guys will likely be the ROY, and I would argue with the worst ROY stats of all time. I know that PER is a much maligned stat on this board, but both of them carry a PER of 13.79, which puts MCW as the 41st best point guard and VO as the 28th best shooting guard. I recognize that both are considered above average defenders, but their defense isn't good enough to offset those horrible offensive stats.

Tim Hardaway Jr. is the only rookie whose has respectable stats to date. 9.2PPG on 46 FG%, 39 3-point % and 81 FT% in only 20 minutes a game.

Which brings up the question. Why hasn't Rick.......
