Paul Allen
Paul Allen mentioned if he was going to trade KLove he would try and trade him to the Thunder for Ibaka, Lamb, and Jackson. I would want them to throw in Roberson and take back Budinger with Love.
Rubio/Jackson/Barea
Martin/Lamb/Brewer
Shabazz/Roberson/Brewer
Ibaka/LRMM/Cunningham
Pekovic/Turiaf/Dieng
I would do it at this point. I think we might actually be better.

Gee, the guys at Apple said to try to get Anthony Davis. I don't know what to do now.

Re: Paul Allen
I suggested Serge Ibaka, Jeremy Lamb, Reggie Jackson, 2014 1st round pick for Kevin Love and Corey Brewer about a month or so ago. I'd rather have the pick instead of Roberson and I would agree with switching Bud into the deal instead of Brewer at this point.
The good thing about this idea is that we could still do this if we need to next season. Then there's the posters on here who believe Ibaka has more value to the Thunder than Love would. Yes, people were making that claim.

Would rather have David Lee and Klay Thompson or Barnes....
Re: Paul Allen
Ibaka would be a great addition that's for sure, but I think OKC would value his defence greater than Loves offense. There simply isn't enough shots to go around for Durant, Westbrook and Love. However if Lebron, Wade and Bosh made it work in Miami, then I'm sure they could.
Ibaka is having a monster year. 15ppg shooting .54 form the field (and .38 from 3) as well as ripping down 9 boards and 2.6 blocks a game. Impressive.
I would definitely be keen for an Ibaka + Lamb trade for Love, but just can't see OKC doing it.

Re: Paul Allen
Why would the team with the best record in the NBA make such a big move that costs them their primary defensive presence and starting SG for a 3rd scoring option on their team? Teams with strong places in the standings are only looking for supplementary pieces at this point in the season. The only way this deal is even a second thought for the Thunder would be if they lose again in the playoffs because they struggled mightily to score outside of Durant and Westbrook.

Re: Paul Allen
OKC would take Love for Ibaka and Lamb. With 3 top ten players in the league they would be a dynasty. Let's not overthink this, Ibaka is no Love in terms of talent/impact.

I get that, but they are not going to do that mid-season when they have the best record in the league. When's the last time the best team in the league made a massive deal like that during the year they have the best record? They would do it in the offseason, but not now.

Khans, it would be stealing. How could they lose with Love, Durant, and Westbrook starting together? That's literally 60% of the starting lineup for the West.

Re: Paul Allen
They could lose because of the defensive drop off because a frontcourt of Love/Perk is no better than Love/Pek. They could lose because it takes more than half a season to develop title winning chemistry (it took the Heat a whole season before the got championship caliber chemistry). They could lose because of the difficulty of managing an offense with 3 guys who want the ball and a PG who doesn't even share with the best offensive player in the game let alone two of the best. They could lose because the trade would kill any depth behind their starters. OKC might take Ibaka and Lamb for Love, but we're sure going to get more out of them if they want Love. There are so many factors that could cause them to lose and then they end up capping themselves out with 3 max guys and no depth around them and they weren't even willing to go into the tax for a rookie max deal for Harden. Miami and Indian have the defenses to stop what OKC can bring to the table so it is not any more a guarantee at a title for OKC as they have now with the best record in the West.
